Privacy Policy
Last updated - October 27, 2025
Flowless is built with a single purpose - reduce distraction on social platforms by hiding infinite feeds and showing a short inspirational quote instead. We do not collect, sell, or share personal data. There are no analytics, ads, user accounts, or tracking pixels.
What we do not collect
- No personally identifiable information
- No browsing history or page content
- No keystrokes, clicks, or behavioral data
- No device or location data
- No authentication information
- No financial information
Data processed locally
All functionality runs locally in your browser. The extension modifies feed containers on user selected sites to display a static quote element. Page content is not read or sent anywhere.
Permissions used
- storage - saves non-personal preferences like per-site on/off state, last quote ID, and simple UI settings. Values may sync with your Chrome profile if you enable sync.
- scripting - injects a small deterministic content script on domains you enable to hide the feed and render the quote. It does not capture or transmit content or inputs.
Network requests
Flowless does not execute remote code. All code is bundled in the extension package. No network requests are made to external servers. No data is transmitted or uploaded.
Data retention and deletion
We store nothing on servers. Local preferences remain on your device until you clear extension data or uninstall. To delete preferences - right click the extension icon → Remove from Chrome, or clear site data for the extension in Chrome settings.
Third-party data sharing
We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties. We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose. We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Children
Flowless is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data.
